My Friends

My Dear Friends,
 
It has been a while since Ive been on but
summer and kids heading back to school was soooooo
BUSY for us all.  I am writing to let you all know
some sad new.
My father in law, Kevin, passed away this past tuesday
September 12, 2006 of a massive heart attack.
He was rushed to the hospital but his heart gave in and
would not start back up.
I know some of you already know, and I appreciate
and THANK YOU for the condolences.  Addy, you have sent
such a beautiful flower
arrangement TY TY TY so much.  We are all grieveing and it
may take a while for mom and I to come back here and
visit you all.  We really appreciate everything any and all
of you have done.  I also want to thank people in advance
as not everyone knows yet so I am sure in the next few coming days
as people find out we will be receiving more condolences.
TY all my friends.
dad will be sadly missed but NEVER FORGOTTEN for his kind and gentle ways.

Update

 

It has been a while since I have been on and I thought Id pop in and leave a message for all to let you all know Im still alive, lol!!  When Craig and I found out we were expecting again, I have been so busy, with dr's appointments and other things as well.  Everything is going excellent and we are applying for a 3 bdr home so we can get in before the baby arrives.  We have also found out that the DUE DATE is October 10, 2006, which is Thanksgiving Weekend, lol,  so it looks like I will be staying put for Thanksgiving lol. 

With me being so busy, I have decided that I will not after all be doing the friendship space.  I may reconsider and do it after the baby is born.  I feel bad because I have so many ppl wanting to be on the Friendship Space but I just dont have the time right now to even keep up with my one space let alone two.  I do APOLOGIZE and I hope you all can understand.

 

 

 

Im hoping that in the next few days Ill be able to find some time and visit you all.  Hope everyone is doing well and hope to talk to you all very soon:)

TO MY DEAR WIFE:
 
During the past year I have tried to make love to you
365 times. I have succeeded 36 times,
which is an average of once every ten days.
The following is a list of why I did not succeed more often:
 
54 times the sheets were clean
17 times it was too late
49 times you were too tired
20 times it was too hot
15 times you pretended to be asleep
22 times you had a headache
17 times you were afraid of waking the baby
16 times you said you were too sore
12 times it was the wrong time of the month
19 times you had to get up early
9 times you said weren't in the mood
7 times you were sunburned
6 times you were watching the late show
5 times you didn't want to mess up your new hairdo
3 times you said the neighbors would hear us
9 times you said your mother would hear us
 
Of the 36 times I did succeed,
the activity was not satisfactory because:
 
6 times you just laid there
8 times you reminded me there's a crack in the ceiling
4 times you told me to hurry up and get it over with
7 times I had to wake you and tell you I finished
1 time I was afraid I had hurt you because I felt you move

5 times you came home drunk and tried to screw the cat

10 times you got cramps in your toes
29 times you had to get up early to play golf
2 times you were in a fight and someone kicked you in the balls 4 times you got it stuck in your zipper
3 times you had a cold and your nose was running
2 times you had a splinter in your finger
20 times you lost the notion after thinking about it all day
6 times you came in your pajamas while reading a dirty book
98 times you were too busy watching TV
 
Of the times we did get together:
The reason I laid still was because you missed and were screwing the sheets.
I wasn't talking about the crack in the ceiling,
 what I said was, "Would you prefer me on my back or kneeling?"
The time you felt me move was because you farted
and I was trying to breathe.

10 Things I learned

Ten Things I learned My First Year of Motherhood
 
1. When you bring the baby home from the hospital, make sure you have colic medicine.
2. The moment you sit down to eat a quiet meal, the baby will wake up!!
3. Put away your wardrobe of "dry-clean only" outfits...indefinately
4. Babies enjoy the box just as much (or more) as the expensive toy inside.
5. Safety plugs are not childproof
 
6. Babies know a lot more than we think
7. Baby teeth hurt!
8. If you dont hold your baby properly, even a lightweight can do damage to your back
9. Dont forget to take time for yourself
10. Savor every moment because babies grow up way too fast!

So hug everyone you know! Hug your friends, your enemies, everyone! With all the other forwards out there, I thought this would be a good one to start.

 

The hug is my favorite sign of affection. It can mean so much, and many things at the same time. It can be a sign of love, friendship, support, caring, comfort or anything. So here you go. AN IRISH SMILE FOR YOU..
 
A man stumbles up to the only other patron in a bar
 and asks if he could buy him a drink.

"Why of course," comes the reply.

The first man then asks: "Where are you from?" 

"I'm from Ireland," replies the second man. 

The first man responds: "You don't say,
I'm from Ireland too! Let's have another round to Ireland." 
"Of Course," replies the second man. 

Curious, the first man then asks:
"Where in Ireland are you from?" 
"Dublin," comes the reply. 
"I can't believe it," says the first man. 
"I'm from Dublin too! Let's have another drink to Dublin."
"Of course," replies the second man. 

Curiosity again strikes and the first man asks: 
"What school did you go to?" 
"Saint Mary's," replies the second man. 
"I graduated in '62." 

"This is unbelievable!" the first man says. 
"I went to Saint Mary's and I graduated in '62, too!"

About that time in comes one of the regulars and
sits down at the bar. 
"What's been going on?" he asks the bartender. 
"Nothing much," replies the bartender.
"The O'Malley twins are drunk again."
